- Dr. Stacey Harper received a five-year, $1.9 million award as an Outstanding New Environmental Scientist (ONES) from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) and was selected as 2013 recipient of the L.L. Stewart Faculty Scholars Award which recognizes an outstanding faculty members at Oregon State University.

I’m a first year Master’s student in the Harper lab studying toxicology. I earned my BS in cell and molecular biology from Alma College in 2020.
Research Interest/Focus:
I’m primarily interested in the effects micro- and nanoplastics have on other chemicals in the environment, and my research focuses on the effects of these plastic particles to the toxicity of PAHs.
