- Dr. Stacey Harper received a five-year, $1.9 million award as an Outstanding New Environmental Scientist (ONES) from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) and was selected as 2013 recipient of the L.L. Stewart Faculty Scholars Award which recognizes an outstanding faculty members at Oregon State University.

Education/Background:
Pursuing a Honors Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering at Oregon State University. Besides research and class, I am actively involved running for the university as a member of the Women's Cross Country and Track and Field teams. I also participate in the Chemical, Biological and Environmental Student Club here on campus.
Research Interest/Focus:
I am particularly interested in the widespread prevalence of nanoparticles and how they could potentially affect the quality of our daily lives. I hope to use my degree working in some type of industry as an engineer to make improvements and aid the human condition.
